The Power Of Influence

Everyone considers each as an individual;
set apart from all of the rest;
perhaps, instead; we’re a part of the residual;
of creation’s magnificent quest.

In this world our life energies separate;
as indiviuals; we become seen;
in death, our energies somehow repatriate;
and the life of past is a dream.

We recognize the influence of many friends;
its power to make us weak or strong;
upon their influence; much future depends;
it’s how we divide right from wrong.

Even a stranger has power over our being;
his or her image locked in our mind;
memories are pictures of thoughts once seen;
none are ordained to be left behind.

We think we know what their influence does;
but it’s only the tip of the iceburg;
even a running stray cat affects us; because;
runing in front of us makes us swerve.

Everyone we meet becomes a part of us;
and we become part of them, too;
we’re all just passengers on life’s bus;
all memories help make us new.

God's powers are tucked deeply within us all;
tho we were cast out of the garden, above;
our pride, became us; causing our fall;
we will return; by the influence of love.
