The Path Of Least Resistance
In the natural order; we resist all change;
most, have their own comfort zone;
finding comfort; what others deem strange;
each; reaping; what they’ve sown.
This world becomes a stage for a season;
we each, are prodigal actors;
sometimes, avoiding the voice of reason;
we’re energy chiropractors.
This life is the image of an unending path;
winding both hither and yon;
all of us seeking to avoid God’s wrath;
returning to the world beyond.
Hate is the province of the evil one;
division; the devil’s tool;
love; the energy; from which all become;
hate; the choice of a fool.
We’re known to take the easy way out;
often lacking in determination;
failing to understand what life is about;
division leads to damnation.
Change is our only road to perfection;
division only blocks our path;
pride leads to the Master’s rejection;
hate; only brings God’s wrath.
Subtly, we’re led by demonic temptation;
the great challenge to persistence;
God’s love is the only road to salvation;
it’s the path of least resistance.
