The Natural Placebo

A philosopher said; “I think; therefore, I am,”
a most fascinating description;
we might further add: I think; therefore I can;
a cure; requiring no prescription.

The mind is a marvelous natural placebo;
creating realities before our eyes;
only the fool with an exagerated ego,
the power of the mind; denies.

It’s the mind that’s made in God’s image;
imbued with the power of the great I Am;
powerless; we wouldn’t be in His lineage;
whatever we think, is whatever we can.

The truth is almost impossible to conceive;
within, is the entirety of God’s plan;
whatsoever anyone is able to believe,
that power was given to man.

Belief was a seed that the Master planted;
faith causing it to blossom and grow;
the power of the mind, by the Master, granted;
much like a natural placebo.

A placebo is a term for what’s misunderstood;
a not so subtle focusing of thought;
Evil turned back; by the power of good;
faith is the power the Master wrought.

We’ve been given power to do as we think;
flowing down from heaven above;
our faith keeps us, and our Master, in sync;
the natural placebo is the power of Love.
