The Midas Touch

Some seem to have a special proclivity;
predisposed in all that they do;
whatever they do; displaying creativity;
the Midas touch; they imbue.

Midas was a king, in Greek mythology;
upon whom a legend was told;
possessing a special type of physiology;
whatever he touched; turned to gold.

Those, successful, were often acclaimed;
to, themselves, have the Midas touch;
while those, less talented, felt ashamed;
unable to come through in the clutch.

Dismiss thoughts of a mythological touch;
consider, instead, what is real;
contact of another person affects so much;
that touch, itself, is surreal.

Lives are all, each auras of energy;
small hurricanes; whirling around;
touched together; they form a synergy;
most always unique and profound.

Each touch results in overlapping beings;
a marriage, in thought; of two souls;
physicality entering the kingdom, unseen;
exhibiting life’s partnership roles.

In a “Midas” touch; two souls are one;
permanently joined together;
rejoining two; from when time had begun;;
destined to live forever.
