The Linkage Of A Word
How are thoughts linked to a word;
what is their connection?
The linkage is that of a two-edged sword;
triggered by the man’s rejection.
The sword of death; cast the man out;
into an illusion of a world below;
“Let there be light,” the Master’s shout;
imperfection had no place to go.
The God of Light had given man freedom;
and the prodigal made his choice;
death cancelled man’s presence in Eden;
at the sound of the Master’s voice.
Light had created an illusion of physicality;
where the soul of man was banished to be;
cast out of the kingdom of truth and reality;
allowing the prodigal to remain free.
Cherubim brandishing a flaming sword;
stood, guarding the entrance to Eden;
then, the Master created the living Word;
linking His love and their freedom.
The Word became flesh; descending below;
as mere words connected to life;
knowledge and wisdom, caused love to grow;
as freedom brought conflicts and strife.
Living in a world, created by the Light;
faith was the link to heaven above;
in darkness; it all was an endless night;
till the prodigal returned to love.
