The Light Of Day

Daytime is a season for seeing the truth;
darkness conceals most lies;
many spend their lifetimes; seeking proof;
distortion; life’s favorite disguise.

Many; think they have something to say;
considering themselves to be smart;
wisdom’s dawn, brings the light of day;
exposing their sin scarred heart.

None are found worthy to speak the truth;
none are righteous; not one;
the darkness within all; stands as the proof;
revealed in the light of the sun.

Darkness is the season deception reigns;
a spider weaves his web in the night;
tragedies and sorrows bring about gains;
only then; can all see the light.

Truth may only be seen in the light;
in darkness; Evil has his say.
We’re in a season of unending night;
revealed, only, in the light of day.

Many are those, who think themselves wise;
seeking to ascend God’s throne;
these are the Devil’s friends, in disguise;
truth belongs to God, alone.

Mere man is totally incapable to rule;
pride and corruption; stand in the way;
trusting mere man; the act of a fool;
all is exposed; by the light of day.
