The Kingdom Of God

Do we live in two worlds, simultaneously;
or is this place a small part of the one?
Were we somehow created extemporaneously;
how did this reality become?

Many speak about the kingdom of God;
as though it were a separate place;
perhaps both, are like two peas in a pod;
tho only God’s kingdom has grace.

God’s kingdom is portrayed as a garden;
where prodigals sought to rebel;
banishment is only reversed by pardon;
from the lower world called hell.

Both kingdoms exist contemporaneously;
created as kingdoms of thought;
light pierced the darkness spontaneously;
and an illusion of light was wrought.

Heaven and earth were created as one;
from heaven; all things became;
from thoughts; did all words become;
light brought words falling as rain;

The lower kingdom was the stage of life;
where all words to flesh; became;
thoughts; acted out in division and strife;
as the tree of life grew in the rain.

Thoughts were the creators of all reality;
through light; they were cast to earth;
earth was the stage of physical finality;
living out all thoughts, since birth.

Both heaven and earth shall pass away;
from loss; shall all gain
a new heaven and earth; brings a new day
where love, alone, shall reign;
