The Healer Within
When sick; we seek outside interventions;
seeking someone to help us get well;
many conspire; with the best of intentions;
promoting cures; deadlier than hell.
We seek one; on the outside; just looking in;
hoping, in vain, they can cure our ills;
in reality; very few, even know where to begin;
in spite of their ignorance; we pay their bills.
We tend to forget that there’s a healer within;
an integral part of the Master’s creation;
that same energy that saved us from sin;;
implanted by our Lord of salvation.
Love is the energy that heals every soul;
granting us a natural immunity;
a healthy immune system has that role;
throughout the human community.
We treat our body much like it’s a car;
taking it to a mechanical healer;
in reality; it almost seems bizarre;
like taking it back to the dealer.
The truth of reality is more bizarre;
with energy; does all life begin;
we’re energy, alone; unlike the car;
all our healing occurs, within.
We are all, simply energy; alone;
man has no permanent solutions;
death is the Master, driving us home;
healing our temporary illusions;
