The Greatest Power
There is a source; the greatest power;
beyond all others combined;
one enabling the growth of a flower;
beyond all powers designed.
One might well think that power is love;
but love is only a small fraction.
A power from within; not from above;
love strengthens its interaction.
Faith is the switch that turns on the power;
mountains could fall in its path;
but faith, alone; won’t cause evil to cower;
belief has the strength of God’s wrath.
Know that whatsoever the mind can conceive;
the Master has promised we can do;
faith will give us the power to truly believe;
and God can make all things new.
Goliath was slain, because David believed;
multitudes fed; by two fishes and bread.
who would’ve ever thought to have conceived;
Pharoah’s armies would drown and be dead.
Miracles are reality; under God’s control;
they don’t simply happen by chance;
God sends his angels to watch over each soul;
belief is the power to change circumstance.
Many people doubt that miracles ever work;
lacking faith; they can’t even conceive;
unfortunately; they tend to ignore this quirk;
and, they’re totally unable to believe.
