The Greatest Blessing

All believers seek God’s favor;
feeling his approval, above;
His blessings; all of us savor;
the greatest of which, is love.

Many people think God blesses things;
but, things don’t really exist;
thoughts of love are what He brings;
and, love is within each kiss.

We all inhale the beauty of a sunset;
and a sunrise lifts everyone;
tho we’ve all lived a life of regret;
the cost was paid by His Son.

We’re blessed to be in God’s image;
to become what he meant us to be;
blessed to become a part of his lineage;
his truth shall set us all free.

Blessed to discover what reality’s about;
more blessed to give; than receive;
filled with great joy; once we find out:
all things are possible: Believe!

We’re blessed by the incredible beauty,
of God’s magnificent creation;
in life; given both purpose and duty;
and the gift of eternal salvation.

But the greatest blessing we will ever get;
no matter how long we may live;
of all the wrongs in our lives, we regret;
God’s given us the love to forgive.
