The Ghost Of Will

When someone dies; they leave a will;
all legatees it mentions;
expecting those, left behind, will fulfill;
and honor all intentions.

A ghost expresses to those, bereaved ;
while journeying to heaven above;
to each of them; all treasures bequeathed;
as a final expression of love.

The reading of a will is a solemn event;
most of those loved ones cry;
they are carefully crafted words of intent;
to be read; after we die.

A will contains words of absolute truth;
a ghost’s feelings; no longer concealed;
offering recipients everlasting proof;
the act of love can’t be repealed.

Everyone has, within them, a will;
one which declares their purpose;
revealing intent they wish to fulfill;
their actions causing it to surface.

God has openly expressed his will;
even though He won’t die;
when one thinks, to lie, cheat, or kill;
God’s Son has a tear in each eye.

The Son of God expressed his own will;
as his Ghost ascended above;
knowing, by death, He would fulfill;
His mission of forgiveness and love.
