The Faith Of A Child
Faith is described, a great many ways;
a baby only knows how to cry;
later they act in their own school plays;
leaving, without saying goodbye.
A baby learns quickly to trust; a Father;
only faith can stop its squalling;
babies don’t cry, just to be a bother;
they cry out of fear of falling.
Adult babies are very much the same;
they begin; trusting God the Father;
when life is tough; God gets the blame;
and worship becomes a bother.
All lives go through a plethora of seasons;
maintaining a constant ebb and flow;
only the Master understands the reasons;
and where we’re destined to go.
To the Master; we’re always a child;
we simply don’t know any better;
with God; all must become reconciled;
everyone born is God’s debtor.
Most soon lose their fear of falling;
becoming filled with pride;
tho tragedies cause much caterwauling;
our faith had already died.
Eventually driven to hopeless despair;
desperation brings thoughts of a child;
faith then whispers that God is there;
and, all his children are reconciled.
