The Face Of God
We live in a beautiful, mystical kingdom;
that no one on earth understands;
granted, by the Master, unlimited freedom;
“Love thy neighbor” he commands.
This kingdom consists of magnificent scenes;
travel has become a favorite vacation;
this entire kingdom is a planet of dreams;
on every ocean or nation.
This earth is a picture of the true reality;
for it is just an illusion of light;
a significant part of creation’s duality;
a hologram of thought; in the night.
Earth is home for prodigals of God’s garden;
a portrait of the true kingdom of light;
a lifetime sentence for those seeking a pardon;
where thoughts are displayed as sight.
Many seek to claim this earth as their own;
as though it was, by them, created;
to everyone born; it is simply their home;
some even consider it overrated.
Many claim it is a deeply flawed creation;
with issues that man can repair;
many worried about temperature elevation;
claiming that only they care.
When I’ve looked upon the beauty of the earth;
and seen the illusion of heaven’s space;
I’ve looked back on yesterday’s place of birth;
metaphorically, I’ve seen God’s face.
