The Eyes Of Thought
We think of vision as a function of eyes;
tho the eyes only take in light;
light energy contains many a surprise;
tho it’s hard to see in the night.
The elevated mind has creative vision;
it sees what it chooses to see;
its thoughts make their own decision;
it’s depth is infinity.
Some call such thoughts imagination;
although everything has been before;
many sought reasons and causation;
that thoughts produce an encore.
Eyes of thought are what’s meant to be;
in heaven, they are the creators;
on earth; very few have the eyes to see;
where physical eyes are traitors.
Tho many, on earth, are physically blind;
such is only a temporary illusion;
in heaven; all shall see with their mind;
devoid all forms of confusion.
Many others, on earth, are blind to truth;
an invisible blindfold covers their mind;
not believing in faith to provide the proof;
forgetting the heaven, they left behind.
The Master’s eyes scan the earth’s domain;
keeping the lowly sparrow in view;
keenly aware of our sorrows and pain;
watching over both me, and you.
