The Dichotomy Of Man

The Dichotomy Of Man

Mankind was created, multiple dichotomies;
male and female; each half would be;
while mind and body were separate prodigies;
and physical eyes, needed a mind to see.

Though the complexity of man seemed odd;
the man was made in the Master’s image;
both male and female was the image of God;
and the complex man was God’s lineage.

Like God, man was made out of energy;
a ghostly image; he was thoughts, alone;
from God’s imagination and synergy;
the new creation had found his home.

Originally created in the Master’s realm;
the man sought his power and more;
to remain sovereign, and at the helm;
God sent mankind, crashing earth’s shore.

Though the man seemed somewhat simple;
all deeper complexity, was hidden inside;
even finite details, as eyebrows and a dimple;
the mind’s dichotomy was difficult to hide.

An everchanging image, masked all energy;
a sculpture of man was crafted by thought;
creation’s depth was concealed in its synergy;
and man, was the masterpiece God wrought.

How does one separate the mind from the man;
personality and love morph them together;
only the physical, is constrained by a life span;
thoughts and words, shall live forever.
