The Depths Of Being

We’re able to measure the depths of the sea;
and, to some extent, the height of the sky;
what about measurements of that which is me;
and the answers to every “Why?”

Can we research the true depths of being;
forget about the height of the sky;
we need the truth about what’s unseen;
tell me the answer: How deep am I?

Many just think we’re mere flesh and bone;
born to live and then die; whenever;
instead, we’re a consciousness energy zone;
and our soul shall live forever.

Consciousness is much like the oceans;
it constantly ebbs and flows;
much the same as love and devotions;
it subsides; and then, grows.

All of life is awareness; meant to be;
the Master willed it to be so;
truth within; is beyond what we see;
it must be absorbed to grow.

Life in the oceans swim deep in its depth;
while the birds inherited the sky;
the greatest secret, in life, is in death;
revealed to all when they die.

We’re all a part of God’s infinite dreams;
we’re mere thoughts; dreamt above;
this physical life is more than it seems;
we are God’s dreams of love.
