The Depth Of Tears
Many have asked; “How deep is the ocean;”
as though the answer has relevance;
what does it have to do with time or motion;
their answers, always lack eloquence.
Their thoughts are premised upon physicality;
thinking everything has weight, and size;
but what is the size of the dreams of reality;
and the depth of tears in your eyes.
Our tears are a form of physical reality;
their depth is often beyond measure;
you might say they are energy nutrality;
flowing from both sorrows and pleasure.
All tears are a physical metaphor of truth;
of the tears shed when the Master cried;
physicality rendered the ultimate proof;
shed again when the Master died.
How vast, the ocean; how deep, its seas;
they never, ever get enough;
God’s sorrows bring man to his knees;
with tears; are they all filled up.
Consider, again, “How deep is the ocean?”
the answer is certainly quite eloquent;
time stood still; reflecting God’s emotion;
and the answer was truly relevant.
The ocean is symbolic of the Master’s tears;
his sorrows are the sorrows of divinity;
their ebb and flow; undiminished by years;
they’re the waterfall of life’s infinity.
