The Consequence Of Life
Reality is the balance of cause and effect;
eternity always has a reason;
this may be a concept you choose to reject;
as your mind is in a different season.
Life is a compilation of limitless circumstance;
through which, all life forms flow;
nothing ever occurs, without consequence;
each life; to live; must grow.
We’re told; what goes up; must come down;
and so, we believe in gravity;
when one harms another; we simply frown;
not believing human depravity.
Evil is deeply hidden within all thought;
all have both bad thoughts; and good;
by the Lord of All; reality was wrought;
and truth, often misunderstood.
The circle of life is an eternal energy flow;
it isn’t a cycle of happenstance;
all life returns; from where it must go;
then, sent out, again; to dance.
Many think the consequence of life is death;
that thought isn’t completely true;
whenever it is; we breathe our last breath;
we become reborn anew.
And so, the cycle of life starts all over;
death simply decays the body of earth;
a physical body may remain neath clover;
but, the soul returns to its garden birth.
