The Broken Chandelier
The chandelier is a metaphor of life;
created for its beauty and utility;
snowflakes of glass dispersing light;
possessing an air of nobility.
Hanging from nowhere; scattering Light;
from the particles of glass it came;
created to transform the darkness of night;
all, put together, in the Master’s name.
As with all things, possessing nobility;
a chandelier, called life, had its fall;
evil exposed its propensity for fragility;
and was shattered by the Lord of All.
The broken particles, fell to the earth;
the light, reflected; was diminished;
life had been cast from its place of birth;
and evil thought man was finished.
That which possessed beauty and nobility;
shattered; and left in debris;
no longer did life enjoy peace and tranquillity;
for, death was the Master’s decree.
Death was not intended to be life’s end;
everything happens for a reason;
to a lower kingdom all life did descend;
death is merely a change of season.
But, even tho the chandelier was shattered;
leaving the earth in the darkness of night;
saving His children was all that mattered;
God sacrificed His Son to restore the Light.
