The Body Beautiful

The Body Beautiful

We live in a kingdom where beauty attracts;
most, destined to live and die, as a pair;
a fictional reality caused, as light refracts;
an illusive kingdom, floating in air.

Beauty, itself, is a matter of perception;
all souls are really pure light;
the greatest beauty, escapes detection;
carefully hidden from sight.

The energy of the soul creates the illusion;
painted, in blood, and sculpted in light;
adding to our deep reservoir of confusion;
the beauty of thought; hidden by night.

We gaze upon the stunningly beautiful body;
thinking, that’s where all loves, begin;
many, somewhat plain; while others are gaudy;
while the greater beauty lies within.

Sight is an amazing and beautiful wonder;
we don’t actually see with our eyes;
light enters in; causing lightning and thunder;
as the mind; analyzes and replies.

Wisdom comands that the mind discover;
a far deeper beauty, within;
connecting the minds of one to another;
where true love always begins.

The beauty of the body is simply the surface;
aging causes outward beauty to recede;
in the matter of depths, God applies purpose;
shallow waters are where the sharks feed.
