The Blabbermouth

Some just don’t know when to quit;
even secrets tend to come out;
whatever comes to mind; they tell it;
the consummate blabbermouth.

Rarely are they held in high regard;
nevertheless; we all listen;
whether by phone; or in the backyard;
we’re captives, in their prison.

They insist, all their thoughts be known;
demanding that they be heard;
often, they’re heard talking, when alone;
a action, most absurd.

Some love the sound of their own voice;
and believe that others do; as well;
talking over others; they do by choice;
making others life, a living hell.

Many are blabbermouths; as you know;
all, with their own stories to share;;
usually, they’re telling their tales of woe;
thinking that somehow you’ll care.

Though, blabbermouths may tell the truth;
it’s often, what you don’t need to hear;
describing their troubles; sounding aloof;
while constantly bending your ear.

Some just don’t know when to quit;
to stop them; others often shout;
they get so angry; they could spit;
I know; I am a blabbermouth.
