The Aperture Of Love
We’ve been given a window to reality;
the Master created our eyes above;
a gift enabling that we all might see;
the enormity of God’s love.
In the beginning; man and God, aligned;
life was formed in perfection;
the Master’s will, and life, intertwined;
bonded by love’s reflection.
Temptations of power; an earthly throne;
caused the man to become blind;
sent from heaven’s reality; to earth alone;
leaving his Master behind.
In spite of rebellion. God still loved life;
life’s death caused him to cry;
the bond of love was like husband to wife;
rejection must not allow it to die.
Reality is truth; a shadowy mist or fog;
its vision is somewhat obscure;
mankind was created as God’s analog;
restoration become the cure;
Faith was given as an aperture of love;
granting mankind new sight;
seeing through lies; to a kingdom above;
envisioning a world of Light.
Faith transcended the darkest night;
seeing what eyes couldn’t see;
death then returned man to the Light;
to become what was meant to be.
