The Angry Sea
Life had its beginning as a babbling brook;
growing in size, it became a river;
life’s Author had completed life’s book;
the perfect gift; from the perfect giver.
Eventually, it all emptied into the Ocean;
and the river of life had become a sea;
in spite of the Master’s love and devotion;
many had bristled, at what was to be.
The seas brought in new life, riding the tides;
the Master created its ebb and flo;
in the depth of the ocean, all wisdom resides;
for the Lord of All had made it so.
Conflicts embraced both the sands and the sea;
produced, by the anger, men brought;
the sands on the beaches, disturbed by debris;
by all the hate that was taught.
The mind of the Master, was the angry sea;
seeing His love transformed to hate;
crying, all alone, from what came to be;
with all evil men, He would separate.
The Master was sad, from what He’d created;
the evil, within them, made him cry;
He knew that for evil to become separated;
the man, He’d created, must die.
Separated from Eden, his place of birth;
to learn about love, for his protection;
evil nailed innocence to earth’s cross;
death of innocence, led to resurrection.
The Master had eneded the troubled water;
from the beginning, it had been his will;
the angry seas were quieted by the Father;
whispering, “Peace, be still!”
