That Was Another Time
That Was Another Time
I recall from memory, a most different time;
when most were cordial and polite;
such time has evolved into a dimension, sublime;
as different, as day is to night.
Even then, there were those, deceitful and cruel;
but most, reacted like families, together;
the nearby neighbor, was, more likely a jewel;
but those times are now gone forever.
Today, we’re all given a narrative to believe;
one we must accept as the truth;
tho it often is one; none can conceive;
all must accept it; without proof.
We’re all admonished to follow the science;
but, science is now sketchy, at best;
we’re ordered to march in constant compliance;
without putting science to the test.
Sexual identity has become merely choice;
we’re each whatever we think we are;
everyone born, is entitled to their voice;
Who knows? They might be a car.
Truth is whatsoever is repeated on the news;
the wealthy have our best interests at heart;
conspiracies are all disinformation’s views;
and, all who disagree; are tearing us apart.
Wisdom is best served; down from the top;
with one voice; we can all live together;
the freedom to dissent; clearly must stop;
a one world government will last forever.
I recall from a memory; a most different time;
when most were cordial and polite;
freedom morphed into tyranny, sublime;
and, the godlessness of endless night.
