Tempest In A Teapot
This world was created from a dream;
its beauty exceeds all understanding;
the temperament of man can be extreme;
often, contentious and demanding.
We’re the teabag of life; heated to brew;
by the Master of all perfection;
impurities removed, before we’re through;
bubbling up all rejection.
Man became the tempest in a teapot;
desiring to rule over everything;
ruling between each have, and have not;
demanding to be crowned a king.
Initially life was a contentious brew;
there was no peace to be found;
abundantly prideful; through and through;
in arrogance; did all abound.
A tempest became; in the teapot of life;
nature exhibiting its choice;
creations must endure sorrows and strife;
guided by the Master’s voice.
All life has been finally brought to a boil;
steeped and simmering in steam;
mankind, created from a teabag called soil;
a tempest, brewed from a dream.
Eventually all its heat was diminished;
displaying its evidence in steam;
the Master proclaimed; “It is finished”
the tempest; became the dream.
