Temper Of Will

Why does my temper get out of control;
are my thoughts; no longer my charge?
My will is the blueprint core of my soul;
why is my temper often at-large?

We consider temper; a measure of emotions;
it can, either, blow hot or cold;
when hot; it interferes with devotions;
then; turns cold as we grow old.

Our will and our temper; are often at odds;
how is it we’re unable to control;
our will has become in conflict with God’s;
good and evil; battle for the soul.

Temper reflects our freedom of the soul;
allowing us to each be unique;
a rheostat giving our physical body control;
often, inviting personal critique.

Displays of temper; are conflicts with God;
lacking reverance to his Seniority;
tho you may find this thought rather odd;
we’re in conflict with God’s Authority.

Temper is the measure of our obedience;
faith is our eternal connection, above;
lacking that faith; we turn to expedience;
displaying contempt; not love.

Many, defend; by the power of the sword;
a few display consumate skill;
all Evil shall die at the hands of the Lord;
God’s temper; defends God’s will.
