How is it I feel so much love in the air;
as reality is fading slowly away;
knowing there’s one, longing to share;
a love, long ago, gone astray?

The physical world is simply illusion;

How can mere man select one who controls;
to prevent evil’s tendency to oppression;
should man be ruled by a monarchy of souls;
with a family line of succession?

When young; we referred to it as a crush;
feelings of love toward another;
we kept it secret; but tended to blush;
in the presence of a potential lover.

Usually, it was said to be merely infatuation;
our heart and mind were confused;
shy and embarrassed; we enjoyed

The Janitor

Most are concerned about family lineage;
conceited and puffed up with pride;
some even supply a false public image;
with the truth hidden inside.

They strut about; holding vacuous titles;
impressing others; their goal;
pretending to stand far above all rivals;
their lies, poison the soul.

The Sword Of Love

In Eden’s garden; where born to dwell;
a sublime kingdom of thought, above;
a prodigal; banished to an earthly hell;
slain by perfection’s sword of love.

A prodigal heeded a serpent’s temptation;
seeking to usurp the King of Glory;
the serpent had sought

Naked

Naked we all entered this world;
without blemish or care;
as reality continues to unfold;
we worry over what to wear.

We seek to disguise who we are;
afraid that others might see;
tho you may find the truth, bizarre;
you are a lot like me.

It matters little

Insecurity

Many of us live life, feeling insecure;
feeling there was little to trust;
though the future seemed obscure;
we, at least, thought life just.

As time goes by; we trust very few;
seeing how corrupt people are;
our world; a constantly changing view;
even reality seems bizarre.

I feel, in my soul, so emotionally young;
I so dread what remains in store;
discouraged and sad at what life’s become;
