Poems about Reality
Words are the most used communication;
though they very often stumble and fall;
words are used when thought’s on vacation;
mostly given with little thought, at all.
Still, please remember that words are fragile;
they are sometimes dropped and broken;
unless, when using them, we are quite agile;
their
Winds carry in far more than a storm;
they bring information, as well;
bits of knowledge that tends to inform;
even though we’re unable to tell.
We think of air as merely just oxygen;
since that’s what we need to breathe;
never considering what else is within;
far
Most of us spend a great many years;
to accomplish the goals we have set;
very often these efforts only bring tears;
and a heart that is filled with regret.
We trudge on, like prospectors searching,
in hope of finding that gold mine;
expecting to find that big strike, lurking;
He was speaking to all His creation;
in ways that none understood;
energizing a wondrous manifestation;
with a power, only He could.
He walks with me; and talks with me;
tho I’m totally unaware He’s around;
He wants me to be, the best I can be;
uttering words
Death cast his dark shadow;
o-er the kingdom of Light;
his authority to bestow;
changing day into Night.
The demon called Death;
challenged by the Light
to give up his own breath;
and dwell in his own Night.
A radical confrontation;
Evil challenging Good;
sublime anticipation;
reality being what should.
A thought is the trigger for all we do;
the blueprint, the drawing, the plan;
it’s the very essence of all you imbue;
and it’s how the universe began.
A thought is the prelude to all activity;
everything’s considered and planned.
A thought considered all our nativity;
All of life was hatched from the same egg;
for, from thought, all had become;
but, how did the fish hatch, without a leg;
egg, was the metaphor of the One.
We’re all cut from the same bolt of fabric;
different pages; from the same book;
we all think
Diamonds have a great many facets;
more than most people know;
such sparkle and beauty are assets;
at least, most consider them so.
We like for people to wear one face;
though many have a spare one hiding;
the problem of having one to replace;
comes from the difficulty, deciding.
