A Hero To One

I traveled alone down the country road,
where I’d been, so many times before.
This time I carried an emotional load;
for I had lost the one I adore.

She had passed away some time ago;
her body had turned into dust.
Before the summer; and after the snow;

A Child

What is so special about a little child;
a seed, that’s become a sprout;
not meant to remain a flower so wild;
inner wisdom will soon win out.

Overcoming a period of gestation;
a baby, has now left the womb;
ordained for a life of frustration;
then, destined for

Abyss Of Memory

Memory is a never ending abyss;
littered with joy and sorrow;
thoughts of death and a special kiss;
forever; becomes our tomorrow.

How does it collate each life event;
and keep each one in its place;

I am a part of the river of life;
carving destiny out of rock;
sorrows destined to  be a wife;

unfortunately, I’m just

Emotional Tyranny

There is a pain, only God can heal;
emotionally kicked in the shin;
so deep within; that I cannot reveal;
I don’t even know where to begin.

A mind is drawn in search of recovery;
but, recovery cannot be found;
gouged by the injury of discovery;
and peace can

A Path To Righteousness

Many seek the path to righteousness;
believing it consists of what they do;
instead, it’s a cousin to mindfulness;
and, amount of God’s love, they imbue.

Some seek a life path, with little regard;
often making selfish choices;
frequently falling; their character marred;
by listening to unrighteous voices.

Heaven And Earth

Heaven and earth will pass away;
or so the Master, said;
leaving us no earthly place to stay;
but, earth was only a bed.

For, we all were alive, before we came;
and life shall remain, when we leave;
we must not allow an earthly game,
diminish all we know
