The Tears Of Pride

Tears conceal a great mystery of life;
few understand their essential role;
most think tears are caused by strife;
but tears are shed by the soul.

There’s a reason tears come from the eyes;
they’re the river of toxins, from within;
revealing deep secrets

The Seed Of Wisdom

Like a mighty tree; wisdom began as a seed;
such trees take lifetimes to grow.
Consciousness needed knowledge, to succeed;
for man had the need to know.

That tree shot skyward, out of the ground;
as though escaping the dark of night;
perhaps, like all life,

Memories are the record of the life I’m living;
I wish they could all be amended;
I started out wishing; rather than giving;

The Vanishing Past

Many things from the past; are no longer so;
and most of us try to move on;
many things; like the grass; continue to grow;
tho much of past landscape is gone.

If past events were like trees, cut down;
and, their remnants could be burned;

Sitting in my chair; completely awake;
awareness; like a light; extinguished;
my process of thought had made a mistake;
and my current reality was relinquished.

A brand new illusion captured my mind;
I’d been imprisoned by circumstance;
thoughts had become externally designed;

Many live their lives with goals defined;
and plans well beyond their ability;
others, more realistic; become resigned;
wishing for peace and tranquility.

Nearly all of us have some expectations;
tho with many; no one can tell;
some of us seek wisdom and revelations;

Still Growing

Life was creating; it has always been;
consciousnesss cast its eternal seed;
it was never external; always within;
fulfilling creation’s need.
