Victory Is Only A Season

We often scream and shout over victory;
though not understanding the reason;
we think it’s what life always must be;
but, victory is only a season.

For there is a time to laugh and shout;
but there is also a time to cry;

Sacrificial Lambs

Where are the victims; in victimless crime;
perhaps they are hidden inside;
abortion is merely a murder sublime;
just ask those victims who died.

Who whispers thoughts of death as a goal;
what form of evil, could conceive;
only the serpent would murder a soul;
compelling the Master

The Blessings of Worry

Many times; I’ve been told not to worry;
that worry never helps anyone;
the stress, that it brings, causes only fury;
with it, nothing gets done.

In spite of it all; I still worry, too much;
perhaps, worry, itself, has a reason;
could it be,

Tribalism

Life was created as the sum of humanity;
an overwhelming flow of living being;
soon to become a victim of man’s vanity;
thought; the illusion of life unseen.

Consciousness is at the very core of being;
unity held all of life as the sum;
thoughts laid the foundation

The Misfit

I am my own most vociferous critc;
questioning what I do or say;
my mind; like my body; somewhat arthritic;
I’m swimming in arthritic decay.

When I was young; I rarely seemed to fit in;
although, I’m ashamed to admit;
I was extremely short, and exceptionally

The Cold Fingers Of Death

Death is the destiny; we seek to avoid;
tho we know, we’ll go there someday;
when some speak of death; we’re annoyed;
believing death won’t take us away.

When death occurs; the body grows cold;
physicality can no longer remain;
we feel

Tossed By The Waves

I feel tossed by the waves of life;
caught up in its ebb and flow;
enduring all the heartbreakes and strife;
all meant to help me grow.

I’m swimming in an ocean of being;
involving two separate realms;
the upper world is thought, unseen;
God
