The Glass Filled With Life
There’re those who say their glass is half full;
saying it, quite proudly; you can tell;
much of their eyes are covered with wool;
by definition; it’s half empty, as well.
Our gift called life; a glass of champagne;
a blessing so far

There is this ghostly mist;
wafting through my mind;
my very soul’s been kissed;
by her thoughts sublime.
Teased by playful laughter;
coming from her above;
the author of hereafter;
founder of all love.
Such thoughts, a mystery;
imprinted upon my mind;
a hollow thought
The Guilt Over Innocence
Guilt is wrapped around much of my thought;
etched with my pain and sorrow;
I bear that guilt for all that I’ve wrought;
perhaps, I’ll forget it tomorrow.
But, tomorrow always stays one step ahead;
barely remaining in view;

God’s creation is a work of art;
a painting that’s not yet dry;
a masterpiece; two worlds apart;
a planet; destined to die.
A creation formed out of Consciousness;
beauty born out of thought, alone;
predestined to become Righteousness;
from an invisible garden
He Who Is Within Me
We think we look at an outside world;
but, reality is not what we think;
within us; an entire universe, unfurled;
and an outside world becomes extinct.
What is the truth about a physical reality;
what is it all really about?

The Enemy You’re Fighting
We enter this life; screaming and crying;
and so, all our battles begin;
thru history; all have been fighting and dying;
yet; all battles commence within.
Some almost seemed my enemy, by fate;
we would never appear to agree;
while others, without reason, would hate;

Many hope their life is a walk in the park;
that everything will turn out all right;
in the fullness of time; this world becomes dark;
and we dwell in a never ending night.
Most of us can cope with most anything;
with someone, by our side,

How can a house feel so incredibly empty;
overflowing with ghosts of the past;
no longer the place; I still long to be;
why is it, that peace can’t last?
I feel so useless in a world so austere;
