A Fool

A fool and his money are soon parted;
it’s how the great lie begins;
a fool, lacking wisdom, is soon outsmarted;
is where all the folly ends.

We often waste our lives with ambition;
in retrospect, it’s all rather odd;
for it results in a form of sedition;

Fine Wine

Rising  within; coming to surface;
a deep abiding wisdom I see;
culminating in life’s purpose;
extending thoughts to eternity.

Mind expanding; length and width;
inconceivable, that I could define;
yet, due to his unbelievable gift;
I feel wisdom; aging like wine.

My thoughts; unable this wisdom, digest;
