Many come to believe in destiny;
with everything preordained;
within us each; our own history;
all in life’s book contained.

Fate is the name, given this thought;
making our life seem unecessary;
we are the actor, the playwrite brought;
lives, we’re given, are arbitrary.

Imagine the culmination of everything good;
the zenith of truth and light;
when love is no longer misunderstood;
and darkness flees the night.

A time when all lies, become forbidden;
and the past becomes just a mist;
when all our past mistakes are forgiven;
and destiny becomes love’

There Is No Peace

Many proclaim they only want peace;
but peace can never be found;
what they really want is to appease;
it has a more calming sound.

Our lives are governed by many illusions;
we trust that most have goodwill;
truth has history to prove its conclusions;
evil

The Reticence Of Tyranny

We find many ways to face all we must;
especially, a future, many can’t see;
while living in a kingdom of evil’s lust;
we face a reticence of tyranny.

Storm clouds gathering; gaining steam;
life isn’t at all what we planned;
in birth;

Chasing Sleep

I feel tired; so completely exhausted;
tho my thoughts continue to speak;
in addition to constantly feeling accosted;
I find myself missing sleep.

Although sleep continues to elude me;
I’m keenly aware I need my rest;
deepest thoughts manage to exclude me;
I must continue this noble

Weather Control

Man often dreams of controlling the weather;
what a convenience that would be;
we could plan everything; no matter; whatever;
if we could only control our reality.

Instead, we ascribe weather to Mother Nature;
as though she were a natural entity;
referring to some abstract, childlike nomenclature;

Overpowered By Loneliness

There are some feelings; I don’t understand;
love is just such an example;
love’s energies react to supply and demand;
its supplies are usually ample.

Love is creation’s most powerful emotion;
love causes each rose to flower;
creating a constant two way devotion;

The Island Called Tomorrow

I’m a wayfarer, sailing on angry seas;
in search of a future tomorrow;
my obsession has become a disease;
my journeys brought only sorrow.

I left, behind me, a most peaceful shore;
an island, known as today;
I had been lonely from sorrows and war;
