God's Butterfly

The butterfly; the metaphor of mankind;
he wasn’t always able to fly;
his current incarnation was refined;
to get there; he first had to die.

A caterpillar;  his first incarnation;
crawling everywhere he’d go;
just like every baby’s inclination;
and both of them moved very slow.

Word Becomes Flesh

What is meant by, “Word becomes flesh,”
as a Bible verse claims truth to be?
It means one reality, takes another one’s place;
and an energy became flesh you could see.

Every word spoken was authored by thought;
for thought, alone, spoke reality to be;
and, when to fruition,

Universal Consciousness

Awareness is all about being;
creating all that we feel;
and though its present seems fleeting;
its past seems sad and surreal.

The future never existed;
all things have happened before;
though man has persisted;
he’ll always return for more.

The memories of love and yesterday,
nearly drive us

Trust

Before all of our lives began;
we were not a part of a mold;
each given a plan, within;
one, our soul has been told.

All of us are each unique;
a plan was devised just for me
no others may even critique;
they know not what that plan may

Waves Of Life

Waves come across the beach;
firmly pressing down on the sand;
all of life is within his reach;
responding to his command.

For he is the Master of his realm;
the captain of all fates;
he’s always found at his helm;
his love, to us; he relates.

He designed

Conducting Reality

The Conductor raised his baton;
his orchestra was reality;
preparing to usher in the dawn;
with a sonata of finality.

He defiantly brought it down;
light accenting the cymbals crash;
the Conductor wore his crown;
the river of life made its splash.

Reality; creating a new beginning;
a separate world

Let Me Be Led

There is that road less traveled;
with weeds and thistle overhead;
where that growth is unraveled;
Oh Lord; please let me be led.

I cannot tell where it’s leading;
much like a jungle of the mind;
and yet, it almost seems pleading;
that I see its completion defined.

I

Lord, Help Me

Lord, help me to be a blessing;
to each one I meet, today;
their souls, my energy caressing;
may your light show them a way.

Don’t allow my temper to weaken;
no one deserves my rebuff;
permit all my love to deepen;
for each one has burden enough;
