When someone dies; they leave a will;
all legatees it mentions;
expecting those, left behind, will fulfill;
and honor all intentions.
A ghost expresses to those, bereaved ;
while journeying to heaven above;
to each of them; all treasures bequeathed;
as a final expression of love.

Most lives are faced with countless choices;
there are many paths, we can follow.
Along the way, we may hear many voices;
although many of them seem hollow.
Some of them have our best interests at heart;
yet; don’t know what they’re talking about;

I slept very well last night;
at least, so it would seem;
nothing at all, came out right;

Each one begins this life as a prodigal;
rebellion is our stock-in- trade;
looking back it doesn’t seem logical;
but, that’s just how we are made.
We all started out this life as a child;
determining what we wanted to be;
fighting all authority;

I was a child in a family of five;
by comparison, life seemed to move slow;

All seek a life; abiding in peace and tranquility;
a feat almost impossible to achieve;
consistently assaulted by anxiety’s futility;
