Supply And Demand

Whatever we seek; it’s in supply;
very often found, close at hand;
on this fact of nature, you can rely;
it’s the law of supply and demand.

Whatever’s desired; it’ll be available;
upon all consumer’s demands;
a fact that’s totally unassailable;
it’ll soon be in their hands.

Commerce exists to meet all needs;
and even fulfill desires;
a supply will arise that meets or exceeds
whatever a customer requires.

The Master supplies, according to need;
ignoring our frivolous demands;
paying no mind to how much we plead;
He won’t respond to commands.

Wisdom is never in short supply;
nor is it in great demand;
for it isn’t required that each comply;
with the dictates of destiny or man.

The Master expects we be self reliant;
we turn to Him only when need be.
Wisdom tells me I should be compliant;
to what God expects from me.

Wisdom will satisfy most any need;
and we’ve usually an ample supply;
that’s why our prayers oft don’t succeed;
God’s answer is sometimes a sigh.
