Still Growing

Still Growing

Life was creating; it has always been;
consciousnesss cast its eternal seed;
it was never external; always within;
fulfilling creation’s need.

A tiny sprout rose out of the ground;
and the baby of life was born;
the newest heir to the throne, crowned;
this rose possessing a thorn.

This baby of life was unable to fly;
for only the angels had wings;
emerging from its tomb; a butterfly;
now, living the life of a king.

Sprouts of life; everywhere; found;
born of the seed from life’s tree;
some displayed beauty; others sound;
a whippoorwill serenaded me.

A garden in heaven filled up with flowers;
a rainbow’s promise could be seen;
life could gaze upon their beauty for hours;
imagining it all was a dream.

Flowers blossomed in the season of  beauty;
a rose; the flower of perfection;
death cast down its petals; defining its duty;
its thorn; the sign of rejection.

Death is but a portal to a new dimension;
for, eternal life is always ongoing;
procreation of love, is God’s intention;
and, Consciousness is still growing.
