Spaceless Travel
We talk of traveling about, in outer space;
as tho changing a physical location;
do thoughts travel; not leaving one place;
it’s a most puzzling consternation.
Space and time are physical interactions;
at least, that’s what we’re taught;
we often suffer from a mind’s distractions;
things are not always as we thought.
Our thoughts may prove whatever they like;
whatsoever a mind can conceive;
no two of us ever think exactly alike
whatever we think; we believe.
Do we really exist within an exterior kingdom;
or, are such thoughts an illusion;
have our thoughts been granted total freedom;
to draw their own conclusion?
Often, when we sleep; we tend to dream;
seeming to travel above and below;
during our dream; we can become anything;
tho our head doesn’t leave the pillow.
Death is thought as an overlapping kingdom;
it’s imagined, as dark and deep;
lived in the mind; with total freedom;
we get there only when we sleep.
We talk of traveling to a different place;
as tho changing a physical location;
the world of thought is devoid of space;
life was wrought from imagination.
