A soul was the seed that was planted;
it would come to fruition quite soon;
another new life, had been granted;
and emerged from its energy coccoon.

A child was born; but that wasn’t life;
for real life was concealed within;
born to accept all the joys and strife;
a new body, this soul would live in.

Still in the womb, he created his hands;
and also, formed feet, and his fingers;
all formed perfectly to meet his demands;
but true life, within him, still lingers.

There was a reason for this life being;
a purpose he was meant to fulfill;
though this purpose remained unseen;
he carried out his father’s will.

He thought that this was his only life;
companionship became his goal;
eventually he found, and married a wife;
and a husband became his role.

He always had tried to do his best;
continued to do so until she died;
sometimes he felt he failed the test;
but on God he always relied.

His purpose seemed inconsequential;
descending below, from the kingdom above
but it was entirely most providential;
for he was God’s wisdom and love.
