Soul Beauty

Standing in the sun with auburn hair;
her beauty had nothing to hide;
perfect soft skin and a smile to share;
a portrait of the beauty inside;

Beauty displayed by the body, outside;
concealed that greater within;
for tho attempts, true beauty, hide;
inside is energy; outside, just skin.

The physical is a construct of soul;
and some of us like to hide;
the splendor of being of the whole
reserving our best, deep inside.

Energy is the entirety of reality;
but many are artists, in part;
wanting others, our beauty see;
creating our physical heart.

But others see all differently;
reserving their best, inside;
allowing others only to see;
deep pain that others hide.

Bodies dissolve like wax faces;
becoming mere dreams of past;
for they just go thru their paces;
and were never intended to last.

Whatever may be your choice;
you’re a form of God’s perfection;
your body is simply your voice;
and you’ll never face His rejection.
