Snapshots

Snapshots

Snapshots;  glimpses of reality;
these photographs have no end;
hints of a material duality;
for reality is more of a blend.

A picture has no way to breathe;
you’ll never see it inhale;
energy within us; we cannot conceive;
is hiding behind a veil.

For snapshots display no emotion;
no movement; it’s always the same;
no hate, no love, or devotion;
like a snowman, melting in rain.

Even the waters of the oceans;
come and then go, in waves.
Can snapshots display emotions;
when a smile; forever stays?

Snapshots declare there’s duality;
we’re two entities bound as one.
Energy’s the primary reality;
and the material being’s his son.

The son is the actor upon life’s stage;
and plays whatever role he’s given;
while love and hate, in combat engage;
till all actors find they’re forgiven.

When thru death our soul doth retreat;
leaving our cacoons behind;
a majestic butterfly our Lord to meet;
and reality becomes redefined.
