Shallow Passions
Passion is the force of the energy of love;
that which gives life all its meaning;
created, first, in the thought world, above;
its light, to the lower world, streaming.
Passions were stirred by the breath of life;
all, generated in the garden, above;
fueling the faith to overcome all strife;
creating the kingdom of love.
Passions of greed and corruption ensued;
pride is simply unwilling to wait;
shallow passions were internally imbued;
those passions taught pride to hate.
A lack of faith causes shallow passions;
and, sorrows that last forever;
living our lives when love is rationed;
as tho, we stopped living altogether.
Faith must come as naturally as breathing;
of its presence, most are unaware;
it becomes automatic, like a baby teething;
words of faith can flow everywhere.
Passions are the energies lending it power;
tho evil oft sends conflicting messages;
shallow passions can restrict love’s flower;
allowing hate to replace love’s vestages.
Shallow passions limit the flow of love;
restricting our ability to laugh and cry;
life giving energy, rains down from above;
for, without love, the soul will die.
