Secrets We Hide
Most of us live lives of mystery;
not wanting others to know;
hidden secrets become our history;
not allowing our souls to grow.
Perfection is a stern taskmaster;
demanding truth must abide;
instead; most of us invite disaster;
due to the secrets we hide.
We often live life in total defeat;
believing we have much to hide;
lives of love; and hidden deceit;
in truth; we dare not abide.
We cringe in fear of what others discover;
evil thoughts, we think in the night;
what will they think; when they uncover;
and thoughts are all brought to light.
The Master knows every thought or deed;
before it even reaches our mind;
our guilt is nothing but the serpent’s seed;
with God; all souls are aligned.
Fear of discovery; our greatest secret of all;
our guilt remains buried deep inside;
but pride usually preceeds every fall;
for our guilt; the Master already died.
In eternity; all are sisters and brothers;
in perfection; the Master will weave;
none better; nor worse; than any others;
made perfect; when we believe.
