Secrets Of The Mind

The great secret of being, is communication;
how do thoughts travel from one to another;
such is a puzzle causing much consternation;
how to share knowledge with a sister or brother.

In the physical body, each one has created;
we each have vocal cords and wind;
the vocal cords cause sounds to be deviated;
and our lungs help sound to begin.

But, what about thoughts that we don’t let out;
will their secrets forever remain?
If we don’t want our secrets out and about;
secret thoughts, we must restrain.

I don’t wish to appear sanctimonious or unkind;
but secrets are hidden deeply in the vault;
for the only true secrets, are secrets of the mind;
and those secrets are nobody’s fault.

Once secrets come out, as words in speech;
the winds of fortune designates the receiver;
there is no telling who those words may reach;
for they might even reach the deceiver.

Many people often say whatever’s on their mind;
whispering the thoughts of their own misdeed;
not knowing the Master’s ear is inclined;
and expecting their lies to succeed.

I’ve so many secrets, hidden in my mind;
I don’t even know where to begin;
secrets from God, are never really confined;
for, the Master, is always listening in.

When you think you’re clever and discreet;
don’t keep secrets of what you’re pursuing;
for we are all, simply God’s hands and feet;
and, God knows what each hand is doing.
