Loneliness is a special time; a season;
for deepening growth of the mind;
higher knowledge is sought for a reason;
that reality be ultimately defined.
Loneliness brings with it much sadness;
for our mind tends to wander to the past;
allowing such, can lead us to madness;
our minds know, the former can’t last.
All, at one time, will become lonely;
for it is a natural time; a season.
Whatever the cause; it’s become, you only;
it matters not what the reason.
Loneliness is the supreme test of trust;
only have faith in the One, above;
for, only His Love conquers; and must;
for, the lonely, are lacking in Love.
We think we’re alone; but it’s all an illusion;
we’re swimming in an energy called Love;
Focused on now; we’re lost in confusion;
we’re on a journey to our home, above.
Loneliness is the season of the valley;
where we search for the waters of Love;
there’s a mountain to scale; and we must rally;
for there’s a much different view from above.
Our energy is gone and we lack living water;
but there’s a fountain ahead, to bring;
in the valley, we’re no more than a squatter;
on the mountaintop we belong to the King.
