Seasick
We think that we are physical beings;
traversing these plains of earth;
tho our mind became in a world, unseen;
consciousness gave us our birth.
We’ve become obsessed with what we see;
and, all that we feel and touch;
unconcerned about what truth might be;
our eyes might as well be our crutch.
The eyes and ears take information in;
only by the mind; discerned;
often, we don’t know where to begin;
exactly what it is, we’ve learned.
The physical world is the picture of thought;
an illusion of light; depicting the mind;
by our mind, It is here we’ve been brought;
with the foundation of life left behind.
When sick, we explore only life’s surface;
tho, in raging seas of thought did it start;
we always seek out some external purpose;
all sickness begins in the mind of the heart.
We’re a swirling energy of consciousness;
cast adrift upon troubled seas;
challenged to learn about righteousness;
seasick; we fall to our knees.
Our physical illusion often becomes ill;
our energy is the physical’s side kick;
our body is the gift of the Father’s will;
but my mind has made me seasick.
