Restricted View
I can only see beauty, through my eyes;
such limits will never do;
the mind has been hiding its own surprise;
our sight has a restricted view.
While the eyes can be pointed here and there;
there are limits to what eyes can do;
a world of thought can see everywhere;
all things are within its purview
On earth, we’ve accepted vision’s limited role;
with proscribed limits to hearing and seeing;
in heaven, we’re tethered to an invincible soul;
that powers the very core of our being.
Birds don’t take wing from the power of seeds;
only the Master can teach them to fly;
the creator of beauty; provides for all needs;
granting new life when they die.
A universal consciousness is infinity’s sum;
there’s nothing above, or beneath it;
the transcendent energy of the omnipotent One;
beget His own son; to bequeath it.
We attempt to look out upon a physical world;
but the true reality resides within;
Light’s illusion of invisible thoughts unfurled;
causing the physical world to begin.
None can look outward, with physical eyes;
for the mind is where all things begin;
all truth in the universe, the mind can apprise;
for it doesn’t look out; it looks in.
