Raindrops Of Love

How can a house feel so incredibly empty;
overflowing with ghosts of the past;
no longer the place; I still long to be;
why is it, that peace can’t last?

I feel so useless in a world so austere;
separated from heaven above;
if only I could dry someone’s tear;
and express my unending love.

If only I could be; a raindrop of love;
placing a smile on a dampened face;
the river of life; raining from above;
giving forgiveness; instead of disgrace.

If I could just be a raindrop of life;
God’s tear annointing each leaf;
healing sorrows of husband or wife;
a tear filled with faith and belief.

Love is the energy; falling like rain;
tears of God’s love drifting down;
can’t I become that droplet again;
instead of becoming a clown.

In this evil kingdom; I’ve become all alone;
feeling as though I’m outside its surface;
reaching out, in my thoughts, to a new home;
while still seeking out my purpose.

We each think we’re a physical being;
reaching out; to our Father, above;
instead; we’re energy; thinking, not seeing;
we are the raindrops of love.
