Pursuing The Truth
We spend all our lives pursuing the truth;
nothing, in life, is at all what it seems;
creation’s magnificence defies any proof;
tho its elements, appear in our dreams.
Most think they live to follow their dreams;
how can we follow; what we don’t know;
reality is more than woodlands and streams;
illusions exist; to help us to grow.
What treasures lie at the rainbow’s end;
are those rainbows simply illusions?
What happens in death; will all ascend;
all ponder life’s physical conclusions.
We live in a kingdom, created by thought;
a spectacular holographic illusion;
all must endure; what our minds brought;
this puzzle exists; devoid of solution.
From where did life come; where will it go;
it appears to exist in a cycle;
from our mistakes; we all shall grow;
it’s a puzzle, without any rival.
Life was created in an ocean of thought;
as waves of energy; we ebb and flow;
a physical illusion, is where we’re taught;
death takes us; to where we must go.
We are the leaves from the tree of life;
destined to live; and then die;
once we’ve endured all sorrows and strife;
God wipes the tears from each eye.
